3 days tour from Er-Rachidia to Merzouga Desert. During these 3 days and 2 nights, you will explore the desert area. You will visit nomads in their tents and enjoy Gnawa music and Kamria dance performances. Then you will visit the old eyeliner mines. You will also visit the Merzouga Wildlife Lake, a few kilometers from Merzouga. Then you will walk through palm groves, ride camels and enjoy magical sunsets and sunrises over the sand dunes. Furthermore, you will spend the night in a camp in the middle of the Sahara Desert. Finally, you will visit the traditional souk of Rissani and the fossil town of Erfoud. The tour ends in Er-Rachidia.

Day 1: Errachidia Airport / Erfoud / Merzouga

Today you will be picked up from the airport or your hotel and driven through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud city, famous for its fossil products. Then drive to Rissani to visit the local market. Then head to the Merzouga Desert. Overnight in a local desert hotel and dinner. Enjoy a 3-day tour from Errachidia to Merzouga and back.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert Tour

Today you will explore the best of the Merzouga Desert. You will also visit the village of Khamlia, famous for its musicians from Sudan and Mali. Have lunch with a Berber family who live in the desert, then prepare for your camel ride in the Sahara Desert with the guidance of an experienced camel guide. Watch the desert sunset in the Merzouga Desert. Upon arrival at the desert camp, enjoy a Berber dinner and drumming at the campfire in Merzouga. Spend the night in a tent in the Merzouga Desert.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert / Rissani / Errachidia Airport

We continue on the last day of our 3-day tour from Errachidia to Merzouga and back, jumping at the chance to take some amazing photos of the sunrise. We return to the hotel for breakfast, a shower and get ready to depart for Errachidia. On the long drive we enjoy the natural scenery of the Ziz Valley. We will then drop you off at your hotel or the airport.
